Scope
A Masters’ degree in pharmacology deals with the study of what body does to drugs and what drug does to the body. Graduates opting for this course are also trained in anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, animal models, ADME, toxicological studies of drugs, Pharmacovigilance Meta analysis andPharmacoepidemiology. The course helps to develop a competent professional with through understanding of drug response narrowed down to the molecular level in a living cell. It helps to establish the safety and efficacy profile of the drug during its development phase in pharmaceutical industry.
